#MDFR #FLTF1 Capt. Eddy Alarcon and Lt. Alex Acosta share details on the search and rescue missions in the barrier islands impacted by Hurricane #Ian. FL-TF1 continue to conduct field reconnaissance checking on residents that may be trapped inside their homes and need assistance.

Day 1 into the operations and #MDFR FL-TF1 team members have extracted 42 trapped residents on the barrier islands. Fortunately, no serious injuries to report.
